Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how PNEUOMA Games (“we,” “us”)
collects, uses, and shares information for The Campaigne, a
playable 3D folkstyle wrestling simulation, including the iOS app
(com.pneuoma.thecampaigne) and the website at
thecampaigne.vercel.app.
1. Summary
- You do not create an account. We do not sell your data.
- Your wrestler name, look, and settings stay on your device. They are not synced to our servers.
- If the device is online, we may receive anonymous product analytics (app opens, match start/end, ruleset, difficulty) so we can improve the game.
- We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA) or third-party ads.
2. Information stored on your device
The app stores the following locally (it is not uploaded as a player profile):
- Wrestler display name and appearance (singlet, shoes, build, and similar)
- Input and accessibility preferences (touch, haptics, camera, effects)
- Onboarding and tutorial completion flags
- A random anonymous analytics ID used only for event grouping
Deleting the app removes this data. There is no cloud save in this release.
3. Information we may receive (analytics)
When the app or website can reach the network, events may be sent to:

discovery.pneuoma.com) — product usage events such as app open, match confirmed, match started, and match completed. -
Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID
G-1QXEPHPHRX) — the same kinds of events, plus standard Google Analytics device and session data.
Those events may include:
- Anonymous ID and session ID (random values we generate)
- Event type and timestamp
- App version, platform (web or iOS), and device class (phone / tablet)
- Match ruleset and difficulty (for example folkstyle, rookie)
- Approximate screen size / orientation and language
- Referrer or campaign source if present (web)
We do not intentionally include your wrestler name, email, precise location, photos, contacts, or payment information. We do not collect that data because the app does not ask for it.
4. How we use information
- Operate and improve The Campaigne
- Understand which features people use (for example that a match started)
- Diagnose crashes and configuration issues at a high level
- Comply with law if required
We do not use this information to show third-party advertising in the app.
5. Sharing
We share information only with:
- Google, as the provider of Google Analytics
- Our own Discovery analytics service used to operate PNEUOMA Games products
- Service providers who host those systems, under confidentiality obligations
- Authorities if required by law
We do not sell personal information.
6. Permissions and device features
- Haptics — vibration feedback you can turn off in settings.
- Game controllers — optional; button input stays on device.
- We do not request camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or tracking (ATT).
7. Retention
On-device data remains until you delete the app or clear site data. Analytics events are kept only as long as needed to understand product use, then aggregated or deleted in the ordinary course of operating those tools.
8. Children
The Campaigne is a sports simulation. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Your choices
- Play offline: core matches use bundled assets; analytics simply fail quietly.
- Limit Ad Tracking / ATT: we do not request App Tracking Transparency.
- Delete the app to remove local profiles and preferences.
- Web: use browser controls to block analytics scripts or clear site data.
California and similar laws: we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
10. International users
Analytics providers may process data in the United States or other countries. If you use the app, you understand that information may be processed outside your home country.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Effective” date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
